Duke Wildhide combines Italian full-grain leather with printed hair-on cowhide in a loafer made for a relaxed, open fit and long-term comfort. The leather is soft from day one and starts shaping to your foot within the first wears.
Hand-sewn in a small family workshop in Portugal with over a century of moccasin experience, Duke sits on a zero-drop base with a natural foot shape. It gives more room around the toes while keeping the familiar loafer look, a classic outline with a more modern feel.
The EVA B-Light sole has a 13 mm thickness, so it won’t flex like a minimal barefoot shoe, but the structure eases with wear and begins to move more naturally over time. Because the upper is stitched to a leather welt, the outsole can be replaced by a skilled cobbler when worn down, extending the life of the shoe.

Son preciosos, se nota que están bien hechos y con materiales de calidad. Es una alegría encontrar modelos con un toque alternativo que respeten la forma del pie, sean cero drop y tengan la suela algo más gruesa (que el barefoot siempre tiende a suelas finísimas y está bien tener más opciones). Normalmente en dolfie tengo una talla 39, pero para este modelo me recomendaron una 38, al principio la sentí muy justa y dudé...pero me los dejé puestos en casa y al rato ya se habían ablandado y se adaptaban muy bien. En definitiva, son una opción genial para aquellos que están en transición al barefoot o que no les gusta mucho las suelas finas y para todo el que quiera cuidar la salud de sus pies sin renunciar al estilo :) Mis felicitaciones a los artesanos que los hacen.
Son de lejos los zapatos más especiales que tengo en mi armario. La calidad es maravillosa y el modelo es aún más bonito en persona.
