IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE LAUNCH

Okay... this is turning into a real nightmare.

We never thought that after all this time we'd run into this right at the last minute, but during the final tests, some bugs we thought we'd fixed have resurfaced.

The entire team is currently working to resolve these issues. We're testing, fixing, and retesting because the last thing we want is to go live and have your order fail to go through or not be processed correctly.

Believe us, we know how frustrating it is to read something like this again. But we assure you that it hurts us even more to have to ask you to wait once again. Honestly, it’s been really tough.

We won’t give another launch time until we’re sure everything is working as it should.

While we finish sorting out these last issues, one thing hasn’t changed: as a way of thanking you for sticking with us throughout this whole adventure (with quite a few more plot twists than anyone asked for), the entire new collection will be 10% off when we open. We’ll confirm how long the discount will run for as soon as we can confirm the new opening date.

And as you can see, the new website is already online and the full collection is available to browse. In the meantime, you can take your time exploring all the styles, checking your size and deciding which pair is yours.

Until we open for orders, the button on each product will continue to show “Coming Soon” and you won’t be able to add it to your cart.

We’re trying to fix these last few bugs as quickly as possible, but we don’t want to give you another time until we’re completely sure everything is working as it should.

Believe us, no one wants to finally press that button more than we do.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What's the difference between the previous Supersonic and the new Supersonic V2?

We've already discussed this in more detail in other posts, but to summarize: we've developed our own outsole and taken the opportunity to improve the shoe's overall construction.

The measurements are practically the same, although we've added about 3 mm of width in the midfoot area and a little more volume in the instep to provide a bit more room and improve the overall fit.

The new outsole is also slightly more flexible than the previous one. During its development, we sought to find the best possible balance between flexibility and durability: we could have made it even more flexible, but that would have reduced its resistance to wear and tear. So we found a balance that improves flexibility while maintaining good resistance to wear.

As with every new production run, we've also refined small details both inside and out to continue improving the quality, fit, and overall feel.

What is the difference between the previous MC5 models and the new MC5 V2?

The measurements are also very similar to the previous ones, differing by only a few millimeters.

The new MC5 V2 is lighter and more flexible. We've modified the construction and some of the sole's contours to provide a more natural walking experience.

In addition, we've updated the materials in some versions. For example, for the MC5 Ltd White 01, we've chosen a slightly more durable leather so it holds up better over time.

Has the sizing changed?

The measurements are very similar to the previous ones and, in most cases, differ by only a few millimeters.

If you already own a Dolfie from our Barefoot New Era line and your current size fits you well, your size will most likely remain the same.

Even so, the new insoles have different thicknesses, and the fit may feel slightly different, so we recommend checking the new size guide before making your selection.

The new models include two insoles - one 2 mm thick and the other 6 mm thick - instead of the previous 3 mm and 8 mm options.

And if you miss the feel of the 8 mm insole, you can use the two new insoles together. This also gives more options to those who prefer a little less volume inside the shoe.

How do I know which size to choose?

Along with our new size guides, we’re also launching a new tool: “Find Your Size.”

Just enter the requested measurements as accurately as possible, and it will recommend the best size for you.

We’ve built it using all the actual information on measurements, adjustments, and sizes that we've collected over the past year.

Will the models listed as sold out from the Barefoot New Era collection be restocked?

For now, we don’t have plans to restock the previous colours and versions currently listed as sold out.

That doesn't mean similar colors or combinations won't return in the future. We'll continue to develop new colors and versions, but for now we don't have a restock date for those specific models.

What about the Zero Drop Heritage line?

For those of you who are waiting for the Heritage line, we'd like to ask for just a little more patience.

Some restocks and new colours will be available toward the end of September. As each pair is handcrafted, we need a little more time to get everything ready the way we want it.
