About us

For almost 20 years, we’ve been creating distinctive shoes, handcrafted in Portugal. Our work brings together a strong design sensibility, skilled craftsmanship and a commitment to making shoes that last.

Over the years, our approach to footwear has evolved. Today, we create zero-drop styles with wider lasts, designed around the foot’s natural shape and movement. They bring together the freedom of barefoot footwear and the craftsmanship and heritage at the heart of Dolfie.

We work with family-run workshops in Portugal, many of which we’ve partnered with for years. We use carefully selected European materials, including high-quality Italian leather - a by-product of the food industry - sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). We also make vegan styles using plant-based materials such as hemp, organic cotton and linen.

Every detail has a purpose: to bring comfort, durability, freedom of movement and style together. We make shoes with character, designed to be worn for years to come.
