Dolfie was founded in Barcelona in 2007 by Bárbara De Assis and Adolfo Lendoyro, two creative minds passionate about design, nature, and the sea. From the very beginning, their vision was clear: to create a brand with soul that would reflect their lifestyle and their unique perspective on fashion, art, and freedom.

Bárbara was born in Brazil and grew up in Brazil, Spain, and California. Her father was a musician and her mother an artist, so creativity was always a part of her daily life. As a child, her family moved frequently, living in different countries and absorbing a mix of cultures that shaped her open-minded, free-spirited worldview.

Adolfo, who was born in Spain, also had an insatiable curiosity and a strong desire to explore new paths. He spent years traveling, seeking authentic and meaningful experiences beyond the conventional. When he met Bárbara, they discovered a deep connection and decided to embark together on a project that would combine their passions and their shared vision of life.

In 2010, they moved to London after receiving a scholarship from Madrid Fashion Week to study at Central Saint Martins University of the Arts. Since then, they have lived in various places, always drawing inspiration from their surroundings and experiences.

Her family lives between California and Fuerteventura, two places that have deeply influenced Dolfie’s identity. Both are closely tied to surf culture, nature, and the ocean. They spend part of the year in each place, staying connected to the lifestyle and energy that inspire her creative vision.

Today they live by the sea in southern Spain, surrounded by dunes, with their son and their dogs. Dolfie is the result of this life journey: a brand with a strong identity, rooted in design, creativity, sustainability, and a mindful, authentic lifestyle deeply connected to nature.
