Hello, everyone,
We know it's been a while since we last updated you on what's new, and we wanted to stop by to give you a little update on where we stand.
In January, we said we were going to put the sneaker line on hold to fine-tune some technical details of the soles before moving forward with the next production runs. Since then, many of you have asked us what’s going on, when they’ll be back, or if we have any dates yet.
Here's a real update on where we stand right now.
MC5 / Dylan NS
These two models share the same outsole and last. We've lowered the height of the outsole walls by a few millimeters to reduce stress in the area where the shoe flexes. This has also helped make it a little lighter and improve flexibility. On paper, it seems like a minor change, but you can really feel the difference when you walk.

We've also taken a closer look at the materials, especially the white leather on the MC5.
It's an incredibly soft leather, almost "buttery," with a very natural feel, but the reality is that soft leathers tend to wrinkle sooner.
We're currently testing different leathers of the same quality to maintain that softness, but with a little more structure, so the shoe will hold its shape better over time. It might not feel as soft at first as the previous version, but it's still a very soft leather within a more structured and durable construction, keeping a clean look for longer.
We must emphasize that all of our leathers are responsibly sourced, come from byproducts of the food industry, and are certified by the Leather Working Group. This is something we take very seriously at Dolfie.

Supersonics
Supersonic is a slightly different case. When we launched it, we used a sole from a trusted supplier so we could test the design. It worked—many of you connected with this model right from the start.
We're currently developing our own sole. Not to completely change the design, but to make it more our own and refine the details.

The fit remains very similar, but we've added a few millimeters of width in the midfoot area and a little more room in the instep area.
For the outsole, most of the focus has been on flexibility, weight, and durability.
We've tested combinations of different Shore A hardness levels: softer in the center for greater flexibility and harder in the area that comes into contact with the ground to increase durability. These are small adjustments, but they make a big difference in how the shoe feels and in the experience of walking for long periods of time.

Dylan NS (Special Edition)
In April, we'll kick off the spring season with a limited-edition version of Scarlet (vegan), made from hemp, but in white.
We'll also be restocking the Dylan NS Black, and we'll be launching two new suede colors and a new vegan version made of hemp.

Heritage Zero Drop – Deck, Duke & Zen
This spring/summer, we're launching two new colors of the Deck, three new versions of the Duke loafer, and restocking the Zen 2 Brown, along with a new version in black suede.
They really feel like gloves for your feet.
Why is it taking so long?
Every change, no matter how small, affects everything else.
New soles → new last.
New lasts → new molds.
New molds → new tests.
And then, trying them out again and again in different situations.
There are no shortcuts.
Where We Stand Now
We're still at that point: test, adjust, repeat.
Some things are already where we want them to be. Others need a little more time.
This break hasn't been ideal, but it was necessary to build a solid foundation. Once all of this is in place, the rest will fall into place much more naturally.
About Dates
We know this is the frustrating part.
We could give dates, but they'll most likely end up changing, and that just causes even more frustration.
We prefer to share confirmed dates once the production schedule has been finalized.
What we can reveal is that we'll be launching a few new products and restocking some items throughout the spring and summer.
Quick Summary
Are the MC5 and Dylan NS making a comeback?
Yes, with a more snug fit. We'll be releasing new colors and restocking the following editions:
MC5: Black & White, LTD White, LTD W&G (very similar), LTD B. Red (very similar).
Dylan NS: Black
Are the Supersonics coming back?
Yes, with a new sole and new colors. The restocks won't be identical, but they'll be very similar to the best sellers: Gray, Green, and Sand.
And we'll also be launching some very special new styles.
When will it be released, and how can I stay updated?
There's still a little time left. The first drops are expected around April/May.
MC5 and Supersonic will arrive later, toward the end of June.
We'll share the exact dates as soon as production is confirmed. You can follow all the updates through our newsletter, blog, and Instagram.
Thank you for being there and supporting us throughout this entire process.
