Before choosing your size:
IMPORTANT FIT INFORMATION
Dolfie Heritage Zero Drop models are handcrafted using traditional moccasin construction, so slight variations from pair to pair are normal.
Made from high-quality natural leather, they may feel a little firm at first, but will soften with wear and gradually adapt to the shape of your feet.
All Heritage models include two removable insoles: one 2mm and one 6mm. The 2mm insole provides more room for the foot, while the 6mm insole offers more cushioning and a snugger fit.
Recommendations according to the model:
Although these models share the same last, sole, and insole measurements, slight differences in their handcrafted construction can affect how each one fits. Here's what to keep in mind:
Duke: The Duke ts is a true moccasin loafer, with no laces or adjustable features, so it should feel secure from the start. If you have very narrow feet, please contact us before choosing your size. We'll help you find the right fit.
- Zen Black and Zen Walnut (unlined): These models are made of thick, double-faced suede and are unlined, so the suede will stretch with use. If you have a normal or narrow foot width, we recommend choosing one size smaller, even though the insole measurements are the same as in the other Heritage models.
HOW TO READ THE SIZE GUIDE
In the table you´ll find:
The length of the insole, in centimeters.
The width of the insole, shown in the boxes on the left.
These measurements refer to the insole, not the shoe's external length.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE
1. Measure your foot correctly
Place your heel against a wall and position a book or magazine upright against your longest toe. Mark the spot and measure the distance from the wall to get your exact foot length.
2. Compare with a pair that already fits you well
If you have a comfortable pair of shoes, ideally barefoot shoes, remove the insoles and measure them. Then compare those measurements with ours. This is usually the most reliable way to find your size.
Pay attention to the shape of the insoles:
If they're flat, like Dolfie's, use the full measurement.
If they're curved, with a slightly raised heel area, subtract around 0.4–0.5 cm from the total length for a more accurate comparison.
3. Choose your preferred fit
Find your foot length on the chart and follow the color guide:
Light green: roomier fit.
Medium green: recommended fit.
Dark green: snug fit.
As a general rule, we recommend no more than 1 cm of extra length between your foot and the insole. Too much extra room can make the shoe feel loose, especially with loafers.
FOOT WIDTH AND VOLUME
If you have very narrow feet: If your foot length falls in the middle of the recommended range or near the light green area (roomier fit), we recommend going down one size. If it's closer to the dark green area (snug fit), stick with the recommended size.
If you have very wide or high-volume feet: If your foot length falls within or very close to the dark green area (snug fit), we recommend going up one size.
