Wally is Dolfie´s classic moccasin shoe style which is made using the English Moccasin-stitch technique where the seam is covered with leather and blind-stitched.
Each pair is hand-sewn by SKILLED artisans in Portugal from selected cuts of thick suede, making shoes like leather socks.
All shoes are hand cut and hand stitched the way artisan shoes are supposed to be made. Shoes are made using the genuine moccasin construction, the oldest artisan process known, where a bag of leather is formed by hand like a glove that totally surrounds the foot. Dolfie true moccasins are more comfortable and durable than any conventional pair of shoes you will ever own
A totally natural crepe sole is stitched to the upper leather. Nowadays, the use of natural crepe soles is very rare as they are very complex and expensive to make, yet we keep using it for our artisanal shoes. The sap is collected by cutting thin strips and allowing the latex substance to be tapped. This harvesting does not weaken the tree, far from it, it actually helps it flourish.
These shoes comprise a full veg ecological leather interior and insole.
