Wally es nuestro clásico mocasín hecho a través del famoso cosido Ingles donde la costura se cubre con un trozo de piel y se cose a ciegas.
Cada par de Wally está cortado y cosido a mano en uno de los talleres más reconocidos de auténticos artesanos en Portugal, hechos con pieles y antes de la mejor calidad. La idea es crear zapatos que sean como guantes para tus pies.
La construcción de estos zapatos es la auténtica de mocasines, es el método más antiguo que se conoce, que se realiza partiendo de una sola pieza de piel sin costuras interiores, envolviendo el pie como un guante.
La suela de crepe natural esta cosida a la piel para mayor durabilidad. A día de hoy la utilización de crepé natural es una rareza que nosotros seguimos manteniendo en nuestro calzado artesanal. La savia se recolecta cortando finas tiras de corteza del árbol que no es otra cosa que látex que se recoge y con el que se fabrican estas suelas. No afecta al árbol que incluso se ve fortalecido en su periodo de recuperación.
El interior y la plantilla está forrada con piel 100% ecológica.
Podríamos decir que Wally es nuestro concepto de barefoot para Dolfie.
