We know the wait has been long, and we can’t thank you enough for your patience. We haven’t been quiet - far from it. We’ve been fully immersed in an exciting transformation. After 16 years, we’ve decided to completely redefine our approach to footwear.

We’re creating something entirely new: a design that puts the natural shape of your feet first. This has meant redesigning soles, lasts, and molds to achieve one clear goal: giving your feet more space and freedom while ensuring comfort and health - all without compromising the quality and design that define Dolfie.

For over a year and a half, we’ve been researching, testing, and designing tirelessly. With the help of experts, we’ve developed lasts that respect foot anatomy and innovative zero drop soles (no incline between heel and toe), designed to improve posture, strengthen foot muscles, and reduce joint strain. Plus, our soles are crafted from natural rubber and recycled materials, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability.

We know the wait feels long, but we promise we’re getting closer every day. If you’re curious for a sneak peek, check out the latest images we’ve shared - they’re just a small taste of what’s coming. Very soon, you’ll be able to explore our new models, designed to revolutionize how you walk while caring for your health and the planet.

Why this change?

Did you know that conventional shoes can deform your feet? We hadn’t considered it either... until the signs became impossible to ignore.

It all started with our 10-year-old son. Every time he wore our shoes, or any other brand, he complained that he wanted to take them off because they weren’t comfortable. Family and friends also mentioned this several times. It was a real wake-up call. How had we not noticed this before?

We decided to dive deep into research and finally understood: conventional shoes don’t respect the natural shape of the foot, which can lead to various health issues. That’s when we made a bold decision: redesign everything from scratch. New lasts, soles, molds, and a complete overhaul of our production process. We knew it would be a monumental challenge, but it was also the only path forward.

We also realized that most barefoot shoe designs we’d seen just didn’t convince us. This pushed us even more to take on the challenge and create something truly special: footwear that not only cares for foot health but also maintains the design and quality that define our brand. This challenge became the spark that ignited this exciting journey.

For us, this change means much more than making health-conscious shoes: it’s about embracing freedom, health, and balance. It’s about living without limitations, with a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us. Once you try this type of footwear, there’s no going back. Your feet crave freedom, and that’s exactly what we want to give you.

We want everyone to experience this freedom in their own way. That’s why each pair will come with two insoles: An 8 mm insole, perfect for those new to barefoot shoes, providing extra cushioning and ensuring a smooth transition, and a 3 mm insole, for those seeking a more pure, grounded experience that aligns with the barefoot concept.

We’ll also launch a collection for kids because they too deserve the freedom to walk naturally.

If this is your first time using barefoot shoes, keep in mind that your feet will need an adjustment period. Over time, you’ll notice them getting stronger and regaining their natural shape. This process varies from person to person, but we assure you that in the end, your feet will thank you. For barefoot newcomers, we recommend starting with the 8 mm insole to make the transition easier.

One piece of advice we want to share: walk barefoot whenever you can. And when you wear shoes, choose those that respect your feet.

Finally, we want to tease something special. We’re working on an additional project inspired by the concept of Grounding. We can’t reveal too much yet, as we’re still in the testing phase, but we know it’s going to be something truly special and transformative.
