DOLFIE HERITAGE – NEW DROPS

The Classics Return

The Dolfie Heritage Zero Drop restock is here! Our bestsellers are back, joined by a few new colorways and the updated Duke TS.

To celebrate the launch, all new Heritage Zero Drop styles are 10% off through Friday, October 16 – no code needed.

Here’s a closer look at what’s new, how these styles are made, and what to know about the fit.

At the end of the post, you’ll also find a short film following the Duke TS through the production process inside the workshop.

Handcrafted in Portugal

Our Heritage collection is made in a small family-run workshop in Portugal.

The craft has been passed down through generations for more than a century, and it’s the last workshop in the area still making this kind of footwear using traditional techniques.

Each pair takes around two and a half hours to make, much of it spent hand-stitching the upper, a defining part of the construction.

Only a limited number of pairs are available in each style.

We care just as much about where our materials come from. The leather we use is made from hides that are a by-product of the food industry, and we source it from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), whose audits assess environmental practices in leather production.

Our linings are made from soft natural leather, tanned without harmful chemicals and selected for its comfort against the skin.

Designed to be resoled

Every silhouette in Dolfie’s Heritage Zero Drop collection is designed to be resoled. The upper is stitched to an EVA midsole, with a separate EVA outsole bonded underneath. Once the outsole wears down, a skilled cobbler can replace that outer layer, extending the life of the shoe.

New colorways and restocks

Every style in this drop now comes with two removable insoles: a 6 mm insole for a more cushioned, closer fit, and a 2 mm insole for more room inside. You can choose the one that feels best and fine-tune the fit, especially useful with loafers, where there are no laces to adjust the fit.

Duke TS

Our best-selling Duke is back as the Duke TS, in black and brown. Both are made from high-quality Italian full-grain leather.

We’ve also refined a few details. The EVA sole is now 11 mm thick, and we’ve replaced the leather welt with an EVA one. These changes give the shoe a little more flexibility, and the sole will soften further with wear.

For a better hold, we’ve added a little padding at the heel and raised the back of the shoe slightly. This can make a real difference if you have slimmer ankles. The new tassels finish off the design.

The new 6 mm insole can also help fine-tune the fit, especially if you have lower-volume feet or found the previous Duke a little roomy.

The Duke TS may feel a little firm around the ankle at first. That’s normal with a traditional leather loafer, so give it a little time to soften and adapt to your foot. We recommend wearing it at home with slightly thicker socks for short periods to start with.

Deck II

The Deck is back with its original construction, now in new shades of green suede and sand nubuck. We love nubuck for its soft, velvety finish but it can feel a little firmer than suede or smooth leather at first, but it softens beautifully with wear.

Like the other styles, it now comes with two removable insoles, so you can choose the fit that feels best.

Zen II

One of our best-loved styles, the Zen is back in Walnut and Black. Both are made from thick, double-face suede and are unlined, so the leather stretches more quickly with wear. If you have medium or narrow feet, we recommend going down one size. The two insoles also give you a little more room to adjust the fit.

The new Rose colour combines soft, muted pink tones. This style is lined and fits true to size.

Finding your size

If you already own a style from an earlier Heritage Zero Drop collection, we generally recommend choosing the same size. The fit of the Duke TS has been refined, so we recommend your usual size. The 6 mm insole also gives you an extra way to fine-tune the fit.

Our Barefoot New Era V2 sneakers fit a little roomier than the Heritage Zero Drop styles. Check the size guide, and if you’re unsure, just get in touch before ordering. We’ll be happy to help you find the right fit.

Duke TS: Behind the Scenes

Each pair takes around two and a half hours to make. We’ve condensed the process into a five-minute film, so you can get a closer look at the hands-on work and details behind the Duke TS.
