If you’ve been following us over the past few months, you’ll know we’ve been working on a lot behind the scenes. Some things have taken a little longer than we’d hoped, but we wanted to take the time to get them right.

We’re finally ready to kick things off.
Pre-orders for the new MC5 LTD. V2 White will open on July 23 at 4 PM (CEST).
The MC5 has been one of our best-selling sneaker, so when we started working on a new version, we knew we didn’t want to reinvent it. We simply wanted to improve the details that really matter.
The shape stays exactly the same, but we’ve refined the construction, updated the sole and selected a more durable leather to make it lighter, more flexible and better suited to everyday wear.
We’ve also slightly lowered the sidewalls of the sole. It might seem like a small change, but it makes a noticeable difference. The shoe feels lighter, flexes more naturally and helps reduce stress around the main flex points after many kilometres of walking.
A few updates you’ll want to know
10% pre-order discount
As a thank you for all your patience over these past months, every pre-order placed before August 5 will receive 10% off. After August 5, all pre-order styles will return to their regular prices.
Now available up to EU 47
One of our most requested updates is finally here.
All new barefoot models are now available from EU 36 to EU 47.
Updated insole setup
Every pair now comes with our updated removable gel insoles:
- 2 mm for a more barefoot feel.
- 6 mm for extra cushioning while keeping the same natural feel.
If you preferred our previous 8 mm insole, don’t worry. Simply combine both insoles and you’ll achieve almost exactly the same level of cushioning.
Updated size guides
We’ve also updated the sizing across our newest barefoot collection.
If you already own previous Dolfie barefoot models, please don’t automatically order the same size.
The MC5, Supersonic and Dylan now feature updated size guides with small millimetre adjustments to improve the overall fit.
To make things even easier, we’ll also be launching our new Find Your Size tool over the next few days. We highly recommend using it before placing your order.
A quick note about durability
One question we often get asked is why barefoot shoes tend to show wear sooner than conventional footwear.
The answer is actually quite simple.
Because barefoot shoes are designed to bend and flex so much more with every step, every material naturally works harder too. Leather develops creases where your foot moves, and that’s completely normal.
With the new MC5 LTD. V2 styles, we’ve worked hard to find the best balance between flexibility, comfort and durability. The updated leather is slightly more resistant than before. It may not feel quite as soft straight out of the box, but after a short break-in period it adapts beautifully while helping the shoe keep its shape for longer.
The truth is, there’s no such thing as the perfect barefoot shoe. The more flexible a shoe is, the harder every material has to work. Our goal has always been to find the best balance between natural movement, comfort and durability, and we believe this new version gets us another step closer.
Like any good leather shoes, a little care goes a long way.
If you use shoe trees, they’ll help preserve the original shape. If not, simply placing the original paper back inside the shoes after wearing them works surprisingly well too.
One last tip: please avoid taking your shoes off by stepping on the heel with your other foot. We’ve seen many pairs wear out much faster simply because of this habit.

The first restocks will include some Supersonics, together with a few favourite MC5 colourways. And that’s only the start.
Over the following weeks we’ll continue revealing more long-awaited restocks, along with completely new designs we’ve been quietly working on for a long time.
