NEW ERA – DOLFIE PREMIUM BAREFOOT

Dear friends,

We know the wait has been long, and we truly appreciate your patience.
We haven’t been absent, we’ve been fully immersed in an exciting transformation.

After 16 years, we’ve decided to completely redesign our approach to footwear.

We’re creating something entirely new: a design that prioritizes the natural shape of the foot. This journey has led us to rethink soles, lasts, and molds with a clear goal in mind, giving your feet more space and freedom while ensuring comfort and foot health, all without compromising the quality and design that define Dolfie.

For the past year and a half, we’ve been researching, testing, and designing tirelessly. We’ve collaborated with experts to develop lasts that respect the foot’s natural anatomy and innovative zero-drop soles (with no height difference between the heel and toe), designed to improve posture, strengthen foot muscles, and reduce joint strain.

Additionally, our soles are made from natural rubber and recycled materials, reinforcing our commitment to the environment.

We know the wait may feel long, but we assure you that every day brings us closer. If you’re eager for a sneak peek, take a look at the images we’ve shared, they’re just a small preview of what’s coming.

Very soon, you’ll be able to discover our new models, designed to revolutionize the way you walk while taking care of your health and the planet.

Why this change?

Did you know that conventional shoes can deform your feet? Neither did we… until the signs became impossible to ignore.

It all started with our 10-year-old son. Every time he wore our shoes or those from any other brand, he would complain about wanting to take them off because they weren’t comfortable. Family and friends also mentioned it several times. It was a real wake-up call. How had we not noticed this before?

We decided to dig deeper, and we finally understood: conventional shoes don’t respect the natural shape of the foot, which can lead to a range of health issues.

Our feet are a masterpiece of nature, designed to move with total freedom and sensitivity. However, most conventional footwear restricts them, altering our posture and the way we walk.

Barefoot footwear respects the natural anatomy of the foot, allowing it to move as it was designed. With thin, flexible soles, zero drop, and no excessive cushioning, it helps you reconnect with the ground, strengthening muscles, improving balance, and promoting a more natural stride.

More than just a type of footwear, barefoot is a philosophy: walk with freedom, feel every step, and rediscover movement in its purest form.

That’s when we made a bold decision: to redesign everything from scratch. New lasts, soles, molds, and a complete rethinking of our production process. We knew it would be a monumental challenge, but it was the only path we could take.

Plus, we realized that most of the barefoot shoe designs out there just didn’t convince us. This drove us even more to take on the challenge and create something truly special: footwear that not only cares for foot health but also maintains the design and quality that define our brand. This challenge became the spark that led us on this exciting journey.

For us, this change means much more than designing respectful footwear. It’s a commitment to freedom, health, connection, and balance. It’s about offering you a way to walk without limitations. Once you try this type of footwear, there’s no going back. Your feet crave freedom, and that’s exactly what we want to give you.

We want everyone to experience this freedom in their own way. That’s why each pair will include two insoles:
One 8 mm insole, ideal for those new to barefoot, as it provides more cushioning and ensures a comfortable transition. The other is a 3 mm insole, for those seeking a purer, closer-to-the-ground experience, in line with the barefoot concept.

In addition, we’ll be launching a collection for kids, because we believe they deserve to grow with free feet, allowing their natural development to unfold without restrictions.

If it’s your first time wearing this type of footwear, keep in mind that your feet will need an adaptation period. Over time, you’ll notice how they strengthen and return to their natural shape. This process may vary for each person, but we assure you that, in the end, your feet will thank you. For those new to barefoot shoes, we recommend starting with the 8 mm insole to ease the transition.

One piece of advice we want to share: walk barefoot whenever you can. And when you wear shoes, choose ones that respect your feet.

PEACE IS CHEAPER

PEACE IS CHEAPER

I feel like I’m in the wrong world.
‘Cause I don’t belong in a world where leaders take decisions
only to better themselves and to fuck everyone else. I don’t.
Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives.
How does killing each other solve the world´s problems? Any problem.

There must be parallel universes out there where this does not happen
where politicians are noble, governments work for unity and peace, and where we take care of one another.
And whatever universe that is that’s the one where my heart lives in.

VEGAN & PLASTIC

VEGAN & PLASTIC

A Personal Reflection on Leather and Sustainability

I have been vegan for many years, yet our Dolfie collections include leather shoes—a reality that has always posed a profound moral dilemma for me. Naturally, we often receive questions about how I can reconcile being vegan with working with leather.

My answer, which may not resonate with everyone, is that as long as people continue to consume meat, leather remains a byproduct of the food industry. All the leather we use comes from this source, giving it a second life rather than allowing it to go to waste. Additionally, in my humble opinion, leather remains one of the most durable, high-quality materials for footwear, significantly extending our products’ lifespan and helping reduce overconsumption.

Many brands proudly promote vegan alternatives made from apples, grapes, cactus, corn, and other plant-based sources. While these innovations are exciting, they often rely on plastic components (such as polyurethane) to achieve durability. As we all know, plastic pollution is one of the greatest threats to our environment and wildlife.

At Dolfie, we remain committed to responsible and ethical practices, continuously researching non-toxic, sustainable materials that can genuinely replace animal leather without compromising quality. Our Save the Ocean project exemplifies this commitment, turning ocean-collected plastic into fabric and giving waste new life.

We believe sustainability is about making conscious choices and using resources responsibly. Thank you for supporting us on this journey toward a more ethical and environmentally friendly future.

We Come From The Stars

WE COME FROM THE STARS

We come from the stars. We all do.
You, me and all the ones who lived before and all the ones yet to come.
The stars were our first home. The second was water. The third is earth where we get to feel what it is to be alive.
We are only here for a little while, a certain number of breaths, a glimpse in the lifetime of the universe
Yet, each and every one of us comes to earth with a gift and a purpose.

It is our responsibility to ask ourselves: Why are we here?

There was a long time when the earth lived and didn’t know human beings yet.
All the land made of ice, then fire and then water.
Millions of years past and the earth transformed herself over and over again until all elements came into balance just enough to hold us.
The first humans that walked on earth did it so gently as they knew earths skin was the supplier for food, water and air and they thanked her for all.
And every time the children laughed, she smiled.

The earth has never needed us to survive.
But somehow the universe called us into being anyway.
She gives us everything we need to live, and only asks for one thing in return:
For us to take care of her
Can you do this? Can we do this?
There is no greater love than this.

We have lost our way. They call this progress and for progress we have destroyed the land, poisoned the rivers and the oceans and killed all living species.
We have a choice to make: Continue down the path of devastation and keep fighting with each other
Or to come together and rewind, unwind and restore as much as we can.
Who does it serve to make dumps of the oceans, to destroy the forests, poison the land and kill all living species?
If the Earth heals, We heal too.
We are made of rivers, made of soil, we are the sky, the stars, we are the oceans.
It´s our choice.
(Thank you JOEANN)

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY

Breaking Free from the Illusion

Modern culture revolves around money, fame, and appearances. With the rise of social media, this obsession has spread like wildfire. We find ourselves more disconnected than ever, lost in a world of curated images and empty validation.

Our screens feed us an illusion, 24/7. Watch long enough, and it starts to feel real. The lines between reality and entertainment blur, and we become trapped in a cycle of comparison and discontent.

Materialism has become the new spirituality.

Consumerism promises happiness but delivers only fleeting satisfaction. The more we chase, the more we crave. A never-ending loop of wanting more, feeling less. If we can’t be rich, we want to at least feel rich. A toxic dream sold to us as success.

We are told to stand out, to gain recognition. But in the pursuit of wealth and status, we often lose sight of what truly matters. The world glorifies excess, fast cars, big houses, and flashy logos meant to signal superiority. But is that real fulfillment?

In the race for more, we’ve forgotten the values that once grounded us, community, connection, purpose. Our culture is drowning in narcissism and decadence, but the good news is, we don’t have to follow the current.

There’s another way.

True wealth isn’t measured in money, but in meaning. In the lives we touch, the love we give, the authenticity we carry. It takes courage to step away from the noise, to redefine success on your own terms.

Stay humble. Avoid the distractions. Be real. Be kind. Give love and always be thankful.
